About Me:
I am a freshman at the University of Michigan. I am from Traverse City Michigan, which if you were to look at a map it’s right at the pinkie. Here at Michigan I am on the universities Track andField team; I run middle distance events, which include the 800 and 1500 meters. I have ran track for around 10 years and have always loved it, so I was really fortunate when I was able to continue my career at Michigan.

While at U of M I plan to major in mechanical engineering. What drove me to engineering was my passion towards cars. I plan to work in the automotive industry after college, and would like to specifically work on powertrains, and motors. I have been fascinated by cars my whole life, but after working on my own cars the past few years I really want to get into the industry for a career. Here are my “project cars”.

Besides running and all things cars one of my other hobbies include snowboarding. My friends and I would go every weekend and even some weekdays when we could fit it in. I like snowboarding because it give me a sense of freedom by doing whatever I want to, and having complete control of myself; being one with the mountain.Living in Northern Michigan it gives a lot of opportunity to go to all the different mountains near by Traverse City.

I am also a big fan of off-roading, or “wheelin” as we call it. Up north we have hundreds of trails that sprawl all across the region. We go in the rain, snow sunshine and my personal favorite at night. Personally I love being outside, so wheelin is the best of both worlds for me, outdoors and cars.
